Service for the order of helicopter transport Voom in São Paulo (Brazil) became part of Airbus Helicopters, the manufacturer says. This step was implemented by the helicopter builder in the framework of his strategy to provide new solutions for increasing the mobility of city residents. Voom started operating in April 2017. The platform was launched by Airbus itself within the A3 aircraft builder's division, which includes various innovative programs, and was created as an alternative to ground transportation. During this time, the number of trips increased by 200%, reports Voom. Now, helicopters provided by the service fly 15 routes to Sao Paulo from eight helicopter pads. Voom enables customers to use the services of helicopter companies 60 minutes after the order is placed. Thanks to the financial investments of Airbus Helicopters, the company plans to expand its activities in other cities, starting with Mexico City (Mexico), said Voom CEO Uma Subramanian . ——————————————————— AVIONIC - Magazine about aviation ✈ 📃
