Boeing service hangar in Gatwik airport

Boeing wants to build a service hangar in London's Gatwick Airport to service aircraft . It will be designed for work with this aircrafts : (Boeing 737) and wide-body (Boeing 747/777/787) aircraft of the American manufacturer. According to experts, the existing capacity of the airport is not enough to serve the aircraft arriving in Gatwick. Opening of the hangar is scheduled for early 2019. The construction is planned to invest 88 million pounds (116 million dollars), it follows from the joint documentation of the manufacturer and the airport. In the hangar, it is planned to establish operational and periodic maintenance (up to the C-check form) of the aircraft of the airlines flying to Gatwick. It will also become a base for the provision of services under the Boeing GoldCare program.
